Fuchu-shuku Area
Shizuoka Municipal Nihondaira Zoo
This zoo is at the foot of Nihondaira, a plateau offering one of the finest views of Mt. Fuji, and features 700 animals of 150 different species.
There are many exciting facilities, such as Wild Animal House 299 where you can see great beasts including polar bears from various angles, as well as Flying Megadome, one of the largest flying cages in Japan.
