Aoi Bune
Aoi Bune are pleasure boats that travel around the moat in Sumpu Castle Park. There are two boats, painted with the colors of armor worn by famous warlords. The Sumpu Daikoku-Maru has a gold wave pattern on a black background, modeled after Tokugawa Ieyasu. The Sumpu Akane-Maru is red and purple themed, modeled after Imagawa Yoshimoto. Look up at the stone walls and turrets, as well as cherry blossoms in April and azalea flowers in May, as you take a 40 minute cruise around the moat. Enjoy a relaxing and elegant time while turning your thoughts to the distant past.
